Margaret has held an interest in photography since a very young age. As a child, she spent countless hours exploring the solitude of fields, forests, and water near her home... and displayed an avid curiosity about the sun and the moon... the elements that later became the focus of her art. With no formal training, she has acquired a natural ability to capture exquisite images of vibrant color and exceptional beauty.

Thirty-six years ago, after gentle but persistent nudging by family members and friends, Margaret finally framed one of her photographs and hung it in her home.

Over time, more and more people expressed an interest in her photographic talent and suggested she share her pictures with the world.

Her first Photography Exhibit, held in June 2008 at Gallery Framing in Brunswick, Maine, was a great success.... and Margaret now has her work hanging on the walls of homes and businesses in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Texas, Florida.....and Sweden.

Margaret has transformed her work space in Harpswell, Maine, to the Scorpio Rising Gallery, which is open to the general public.

Aside from her skills as a photographer, Margaret is a psychotherapist, published writer and book reviewer.
